Charles Joye
After completing his doctorate, Charles Joye practiced with two business law firms and developed recognized experience in litigation and corporate advisory services, particularly in the fields of unfair competition, intellectual property, civil liability, commercial contracts and employment law.
In sports law, he advises a major international sports federation, which he has been assisting and representing in court for over twenty years.
Following on from his thesis, he has also developed recognized expertise in data protection and transparency law, medical law and healthcare law, areas in which he offers highly specialized advice to private companies and public authorities, healthcare establishments and doctors, assisting them in structuring and managing their activities.
As a member of the Faculty of Law and Criminal Sciences at the University of Lausanne (UNIL), Charles Joye teaches at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) in the fields of intellectual property and technological research law, with a particular focus on human research law.
