Yvan Henzer
Yvan Henzer has been an attorney at law for over twenty years.
His practice focuses on the resolution of commercial disputes, particularly in the event of breach of contract.
His skills are also recognized by a specialist title in civil liability and insurance law, awarded in 2016 by the Swiss lawyers federation. He mainly assists victims of accidents or medical errors with the purpose to obtain compensation.
Yvan Henzer’s passion for sport led him to specialize in sports law, benefiting at the outset from the experience of François Carrard, former Director General of the International Olympic Committee. Since then, he has built up a solid reputation in this field, having defended sports institutions, clubs and athletes before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
In addition to his activities at the bar, Yvan Henzer is also Chairman of the Fonds du Sport Vaudois, a foundation that redistributes a portion of the public lottery profits to benefit local sport. He also sits on various boards of trustees, notably with the Avena pension fund.
He teaches at various programs, including the International Academy of Sports Science and Technology (AISTS).
